Jamie Wilson


Jamie, born and raised in London, set up Jamie Wilson Productions in 2008. Now aged 29, Jamie has produced over 50 productions both in the UK and Internationally.

Prior to being an independent producer, Jamie worked for theatre producer Mark Goucher. In 2008, he won the Stage One New Producers Bursary Award and was mentored by Paul Elliott. Jamie is a member of the UK Theatre Association and for the past four years has held Producer workshops in the West End for The Ambassador Theatre Group and for Stage One.

In 2014 and 2015 Jamie produced alongside Watermill Theatre the critically acclaimed Calamity Jane and Andrew Lloyd Webber amd Don Black’s classic Tell Me On A Sunday, which both starred Jodie Prenger.

In 2016, together with The Curve Theatre Leicester, Jamie mounted a brand-new version of Sister Act directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, and starring Alexandra Burke. The show received rave reviews and has become one of the highest grossing productions in the UK year.

In October 2017 Jamie in collaboration with The Birmingham Repertory Theatre will mount the World premiere of Nativity! The Musical, based on the hugely successful film series, created by BAFTA award winner Debbie Isitt. Opening in Birmingham in October 2017, the production is tipped to be one of the theatrical highlights of the year.

Currently, Jamie is developing and workshopping three major new musicals that will hopefully have their World premieres in the coming years.

Jamie Wilson Productions management arm provides a wide range of services to the industry including; market research and consultancy, general management, tour and logistics planning and a full accountancy service. JWP are currently tour bookers for the 18 month Worldwide tour of Dirty Dancing.
