Resident Director

Graduating as a scholarship student from the Italia Conti Academy, Richard made his West End debut in West Side Story and went onto be a regular in London’s West End, toured internationally and made TV appearances with shows such as; We Will Rock You, Cats, Movin’Out, Peggy Sue Got Married, Oh! What a Night, Fame, Night of a 1000 Voices, Billy Elliot, Chess and Magic of the Musicals.

His reputation inevitably lead to assisting some of the industries finest, notably, working alongside the illustrious Arlene Phillips on the revival production of “Grease” at the Piccadilly Theatre, following the ITV programme “Grease Is The Word” and Tony Award winner, Warren Carlyle on the No. 1 touring revival of “Me & My Girl”.

Richard then made the successful transition into choreography and creative direction, enjoying working in all aspects of the industry with a host of prolific brands and production companies.

As Associate Director/Choreographer, Richard’s latest production “Circus 1903” has just received its Australian premier, enjoying a successful season at the Sydney Opera House ahead of an extensive US tour, playing to notable venues including The Pantages Theatre, Los Angeles & Madison Square Garden’s, New York.

Choreographer: “Pal Joey” and “Grease” - Aoyama Theatre, Tokoyo , “From the Hart” - New End Theatre, London, “Magic of the Musicals” - UK tour, “Stars of the Night Gala” - Haymarket Theatre London. “Spring Awakening” - Chelsea Theatre, London.

Associate Director/Choreographer on Cirque Adrenaline (Crown Casino Perth, Mel- bourne Arts Centre & Al Raha Theatre- Abu Dhabi). La Cirque Nova,The Birds Nest- Beijing.

For the last 4 years, Richard has directed & choreographed HQ Venue - Dartford Orchard Theatre’s summer youth projects with titles including; “Annie”, “Footloose”, “The Wiz”, “Oliver” and most recently, “Bugsy Malone”.

TV and commercial credits include; Bruno Mars “Unorthodox Jukebox” campaign. “Ambitions” music video for Donkey Boy, both for Warner Bros Records. School for Stars (CBBC) and Children in Need (BBC). Richard has been a core creative at both Q'dos Entertainment and P&O Cruises, where he has choreographed dozens of popular pantomimes across the UK and his production shows on board, currently sailing all over the world.
